A few basics on me...
I was born 25.05.1982 in Osijek
(Croatia) where I still live and work. My work is entirely based on traditional
and electronic media. Today I work for a design studio
Romulic
d.o.o. where I do
both photography and designing. I was working as a regular correspondant for the
newspaper
Glas Slavonije for 4 years. I was also the head
editor of local web portal
Osijek-online, and the head editor and graphic
designer of the advert magazine Multimedia info both for over 5 years. Lately
I've been into a lot of 2D design and desktop publishing. Before all this I
worked as a DJ on
Slavonski radio (I designed the web site :) for
a year, and even spent a
short time on a local TV station.
I seriously got into
photography five years ago. It started out as a hobby and eventually evolved
into an obsession... Photography is one of few rare things that I really enjoy
doing, and I'm always trying to learn something new. To be honest, taking
pictures must be the one and only thing I'm entirely dedicated to.
I agree that it's not the equipment that matters but the man behind the camera, still for those tech-wise visitors here's the list of my common gear. I commonly work with Canon EOS 1Ds, 1D, 20D and 10D cameras. Lens lineup is long, starting from widest Sigma 8 mm fisheye, Sigma 12-24, Canon 14 f2.8L, Canon 17-40 f4L, Canon 24 TS, Canon 24-70 f2.8L, Canon 50 f1.2L, Canon 65 macro 5x1, Canon 85 f1.2L, Canon 95 TS, Canon 100 macro 2.8, Canon 70-200 2.8L IS, Canon 300 f2.8L IS, Canon 600 f4L IS... I also do studio and interior work with various flash-lighting equipment. As you can see, I'm lucky to work for the probably best photo-equipped man in the country.
Canon's proven to be excellent choice when I was choosing the SLR system and I can reccomend it to anyone who's planning to dig into photography seriously. In case if you're from my hometown, the best dealer for Canon gear is
Skripta.
I've put a lot of effort in this web page, so I hope you like it. And don't be shy... Drop a note, let me know what you think!
